  • Name
  • Record Monza FRP Boot Lid

Based on the Fiat Abarth 1000TC Berlina Corsa, the Mini Record Monza FRP body kit was an original accessory first released in Tokyo, Japan, in 1984. The front mounted radiator, linking window wipers and huge rear flares were some of the most distinguishable features of the Berlina Corsa – which included a propped-open boot lid for additional engine cooling. Running parallel to the ground, the unique shape of the boot lid was first seen on the Group 2 car in 1970.

Forming a similiar shape as the group 2 car, this Record Monza FRP boot lid was part of the original racing and street versions released in the mid-eighties. Finished in gelcoat, the boot lid weighs just over 2kgs and is suitable for all post mk3 [1970] minis. Note, modification of the boot handle required. Handle, lock and number plate etc not included. Requires painting.
