Fixed directly to the radiator shroud, the rubber radiator shroud forms a tight seal between the radiator and the inner wing for improved airflow. Measuring 112mm at the widest point, the rubber shrouds primary function is to ensure hot air passes through into the wheel well, thus preventing hot air from re-circulating back into the engine bay. Once fitted, the rubber radiator shroud also acts as a stoneguard, preventing small objects - such as stones, from damaging the radiators gills.
A major improvement over the original sponge strips, this item is a direct replacement for all cars from 1980 including: ERA Turbo, [carburettor] Cooper and injection models. Fits directly to the shroud using the existing holes. Best fitted with the radiator out of the car.
