    Located in the centre of the dashboard next to the radio cassette player, the dial type control switch was first introduced on the Monte Carlo SE in late 1994. Prone to aging, the most common symptoms for a faulty control switch include, but not limited to: overheating AC components, intermittent working AC system and/or the AC compressor not engaging.

Attached to the rear of the dashboard by two screws, removal of the dashboard is required in order to replace the switch. Note, when replacing the AC thermostat, ensure the control switch is functioning properly in order to prevent overheating and/or a short circuit. Control switch facia not included.
