Vacuum Hose Set
Known as a common weak point on the mini, the vacuum hose set is a serviceable item recommended changing every few years. Critical to the engines performance, the MAP sensor - found in the ECU, requires an accurate reading of the pressure within the inlet manifold. Totaling around one metre in length, the vacuum hose set is comprised of four hoses that connect the inlet manifold to the ECU via the fuel trap.
